New websites and mobile applications help with waste sorting in Prague 2
The Clean Two program, whose goal is to inform and educate the citizens of Prague 2 about environmental issues and motivate them to take an active approach to maintaining cleanliness and cleaning, has a new website. These are now clearer and offer a number of new functions, including a direct connection to the Citizen Portal and webGIS Prague 2 portal, which enable citizens to solve various life events.
“We care about the conditions in which our citizens live and we want our parks, streets and squares to be clean. To take care of this together, we need a fast and efficient communication tool. That is why this year we also modernized the website of the Clean Two program and expanded the services it offers to citizens. They will find all the information in one place and can submit their suggestions to the town hall through web applications. Immediate feedback on how the announcement was handled is also advantageous,” says the mayor of Prague 2, Alexandra Udženija.
The new websites of the Pure Two program are fully compatible with the pages of the Prague 2 district. They were also updated at the end of the year. They are now operated on the modern VISMO platform with a connection to the Prague 2 Citizen Portal, and thanks to the new technology, they are easily accessible not only from a computer, but also from mobile phones and tablets. Their appearance and functionality also impressed the jury of the regional round of the competition for the best websites of cities and municipalities and won the title Golden coat of arms 2022.
“We consider the website to be one of the town hall’s key communication tools. It is absolutely essential for us that citizens and people who live and work in our district have an up-to-date overview of local events and are informed in a timely manner about everything important. Therefore, we also continue to modernize other websites and applications. The websites of individual projects or contribution organizations, such as the Center for Social Services of Prague 2, are also getting a new look,” explains Michal Kopecký, secretary of the Office of the City of Prague 2, about the plans.
The “Cistá Dvojka” program was launched by the City Hall of Prague 2 back in 2009. Through it, it informs the public about the possibilities of involvement in the care of the cleanliness of public spaces and supports education and activities in the field of environmental protection. Interested members of the public can find all current information on the topic in one place, on a special website http://www.cistadvojka.cz/ or in the mobile application Sorting waste in Prague 2, which is free to download from Google Play and the App Store.
citizens can also send suggestions regarding cleanliness and order to the office by email [email protected] or individually to the free cleanliness infoline 800 879 222.
