Election 2022 | election super debate Prague people
In the iDNES.cz studio, they compete against each other – mayor Zdenk Hib for Pirty, candidate for ANO Patrik Nacher, Bohuslav Svoboda, who once worked for Prague, for the Spolu group, Jan iinsk for the Praha sob movement and Petr Hlavek, leader of STAN . Hosted by Jaroslav Plesl and Vladimr Vokl.
After the elections, the esk pirtsk strana, Praha sob and Spojen sily pro Praha (ie TOP 09 and STAN.) sat together as a coalition on Prasknica. The coalition won a total of 39 out of 65 votes. The ODS ended together with the ANO movement in the opposition.
They are going to the summer election together, at first glance, a bit paradoxical for one ODS candidate with TOP 09, and that is to go with KDU-SL as a group together. The reason for this simple step is obvious – the parties cooperated in this way during the last parliamentary elections and this step did not work for them – they won the parliamentary election.
It will be one of the few cases when the villian Bohuslav Svoboda will also appear in the pre-election debate. So far, he has not entered into public debates, which other people have asked him to do.
Candidates for the post of mayor will discuss how much they can do for Prague in the debate. One of them is without a doubt traffic in the metropolis. Many years ago, for example, the completion of the city ring road, the high-speed railway to Kladno, or the Blanka regional tunnel. In addition to the current leader, critics sometimes blame the new metro D as the only major transport structure where anything has moved forward in the last three years.
But the long-term problem of the city is also the parking lot. Everyone has been repeating for many years that without parking garages on the outskirts of the city, Prague will not get rid of the many cars on the streets, only a small number of them were created during the last election. One of them is the large-capacity one on the Black Bridge.
And the question is, for how long, and if, it is possible to hold off a flood of electric scooters, which often park so inappropriately that pedestrians can get injured.
The issue of security in the capital and the associated darkness of drug users will not be neglected either. Among other things, one of the contact centers in Prague began to slow down its activity in Prague. And Prague has the appearance of a location where their concentration is really high. For example, around Andla in Prague 5, around Krymsk Street and the Eden shopping center in Prague 10, or even Vclavsk Square itself.
Another big crack in the dark is the availability of housing. At a time when prices on the burst market rose to astronomical levels, she drank by forming coalitions with one in the form of cooperative housing. But will there be enough of them? And the general state of Prague, does it have enough city apartments or does it leave this field free for developers?
The darkness of refugee women from Ukraine and their stay in Prague will not be left out. At first, this darkness pitted even Mayor Hib and Prime Minister Petr Fiala against each other. Hib then claimed that, despite not having received a letter to me, the region was exhausted and the wave was left unchecked to fall on Prague.
