The big gap between the metropolis and the city is the construction of line buildings, especially the completion of the Prague Ring Road. Both entities have to work together on it, but it is not easy to reconcile the public interest with the local conditions and requirements of the affected city streets.
Another problem is the improvement of transport to building infrastructure or one of the climate problems, which is closely related to construction.
Is it really necessary to build on vacant lots? Wouldn’t it be better to use brownfields after some industrial production? Among others, Ondej Boh from the Institute of Planning and Development, Duan Kunovsk from Central Group and Jan Kasl from the Czech Chamber of Architects, who was mayor of Prague in 1998 and 2002, will discuss this with the candidates.
The construction development summit is organized by the Association for Architecture and Development, with an expert on urban planning and the former editor of the Prague Institute of Planning and Development (IPR Praha) Tom Ctibor.
The association combines expertise from the field of architecture, construction, economics and the first. Its main goal is to support positive construction development and high-quality modern architecture.
