Hanover (dpa / lni) – A few weeks before the state elections, according to a survey, people in Lower Saxony are concerned about price increases in their state. According to the survey by the Allensbach Institute for Demoscopy on behalf of the Drei-Quellen-Mediengruppe (3QM), increased inflation is the most pressing problem that politicians should address from the point of view of most of them. 72 percent of those surveyed said so. In addition, people are dying because of the high rents in many regions of the country (56 percent) and the insecurity of the energy supply (54 percent).
The results of the Allensbach poll were published on Wednesday by the political journal Rundblick, which is published by the Drei-Quellen media group in Lower Saxony.
A majority of the survey also indicated that inflation was clearly felt in everyday life. 78 percent of the observations see themselves heavily or even very heavily burdened by the price increase. 56 percent declare that they have to restrict themselves considerably in their everyday life.
