“Want to explain to him what applies…”
Criticism has rained down on shaman Durek Verrett (47) in recent weeks.
This summer, Durek was infected by the coronavirus, but must have refused to be admitted to hospital and to take the doctors he received from the Games.
He must also have claimed that a medallion he himself sells helps against corona disease.
And after King Harald commented on the criticism things just picked up.
Shaman Durek and his fiancée, Princess Märtha Louise (50), appeared last week for a rare interview with TV 2, where they talked about the criticism the two have received recently, and about the relationship with King Harald and the rest of the royal family.
– He is wise, has so much knowledge, is so kind and likeable, and really understands things. We talk about everything. He listens to me and I listen to him, says Verrett about King Harald TV 2.
But the fact that King Harald and Durek Verrett have a good relationship has not stopped the criticism from coming. Among other things, two unions have Princess Märtha Louise is protected for, The Epilepsy Association and The Association for Muskelsykechose to end the collaboration with the princess.
Now experts abroad are also starting to react.

And now a Swedish royal house expert has also commented on the matter.
Johan T. Lindwall, royal house expert and editor-in-chief of Svensk Damtidning, tells The daily newspaper that he thinks the king will have some talks with the shaman Durek Verrett, but that they will take place behind closed doors.
At the same time, Lindwall believes that the king must thank:
– I wanted to explain to him [Durek] what applies in the future. This is not the USA this is the Nordics and we are very conservative here, we are very square and not used to immediate changes. In the beginning, it’s wonderful to have a breath of fresh air, but it becomes a burden if it continues, says Lindwall The daily newspaper.
Lindwall does not stop at advising King Harald, but also has tips for Durek Verrett:
– If he is smart, then he should keep a very, very low profile going forward. Durek, keep a low profile going forward. For your own sake and for the Norwegian royal house, says Lindwall The daily newspaper.
