Vandalized in the night
On the night of Saturday September 3 to Sunday September 4, 2022, its park which allows children to learn about navigation on small boats, in complete safety, accompanied by their parents, has been vandalized.
“After the heat wave, the drought… it is now human nature that is involved…
During the night of September 3 to 4, very inattentive individuals came to destroy the boats… disgusted, angry, disgusted… Years of work swept away in one night…”, she reacted Wednesday th September on her Facebook page.
All boats are out of service
All the boats were targeted. Pieces were torn off. The boardings are unusable and more in-depth investigations will have to be carried out to know the real damage…
The manager says…
“With the drought and the drop in the level of the lake which no longer allows navigation, the park had been closed since August 10. I had named the boats in the middle of the lake as I normally do….They were walkers who warned me on Sunday morning. It was desolation. In six years of operating the site, seeing such degradation had never happened to me…”
A summer season to forget
Peggy Montagnon didn’t need that, as the summer season had already been complicated. First forced to open only in the morning with the heat wave, the drop in the level of the lake had forced it to close the site. A site that will no longer open for the season when it could have delighted children until October, the month it is normally closed…
A complaint was filed with the police.
