Welcoming through his social network post, visitors to this year’s ECO Rally Acropolisthe government representative, Yannis Oikonomou, underlines that “this year the challenge is the consolidation of Fthiotida as the focus of major events tof motor sports in Greece and ECO Rally Acropolis at the top of the game, at the highest level worldwide.”
“I was today in Pavliani for the special presentation of the racing car of the Greek participation of Chrysostomou Karellis and Leonida Machira in the ECO Rally Acropolis 2022. Our region hosts an event of global scope. THE The heart of world motorsport will be beating here in the coming days“, says the government representative in his post on Instagram.
He points out that last year’s “perfect event marked the dynamic return of a global sports event after years of absence. This year, the challenge is to establish Fthiotida as the center of major motorsport events in Greece and of the EKO Rally Acropolis at the top of the competitions, at the highest level worldwide. Lamia and Fthiotida are preparing to welcome relatives from every corner of Greece and the whole world, offering high level of hospitality with professionalism, quality and humanity.
And this year, like last year, the ECO Rally Acropolis will give a significant financial boost. Hotels, restaurants, Mountain villages, they will be flooded with people, who through the Rally, will get to know the beauties of Fthiotida and will love our place”.
