Monaco lose after extra time for their first pre-season game
Last Betclic Elite team to officially launch its preparation, AS Monaco was beaten on Saturday evening by Hapoel Tel Aviv of Jaylen Hoard in Oristano, Sardinia (95-96).
After its traditional stage in Bormio, AS Monaco continues its tour of Italy on the occasion of the Oristano tournament, in Sardinia. Deprived of Yoan Makoundou (muscular discomfort), and Elie Okobo who participates in the Euro with the Blues, the Roca Team lost after extra time against Hapoel Tel Aviv, a club which has the former NBAer tricolor in its ranks Jaylen Hoard (4 points and 9 rebounds Saturday night).
Mike James, Monaco’s top scorer with 22 points, missed the winning basket. News recruits Jordan Loyd, Jaron Blossomgame and John Brown added 15, 12 and 11 units respectively. Note that Matthew Strazel and new captain Adrien Moerman also made their debuts, but also that ASM withdrew from the tournament to promote their tour of Germany.
