Federal police arrested four men in one day
The police at Frankfurt Airport executed four arrest warrants. While two wanted people now have a lighter wallet, two others are now behind bars.
Frankfurt – Busy day for the Federal Police on Airport Frankfurt. For four people was on Monday (August 29) at the airport in Frankfurt end station for the time being.
But first things first: the officials first caught a 44-year-old. The man, who entered the country from Chicago, had had an arrest warrant for driving without a license since March 2021. Because he paid the open fine including outstanding procedural costs of 1078.50 euros at Frankfurt Airport, he did not have to be in prison for 25 days, but missed his onward flight to Warsaw, the police report.
A 48-year-old who was also wanted on an arrest warrant is also 1084.50 euros lighter. The man wanted to fly from Frankfurt Airport to Istanbul, but the officials threw a spanner in the works. In February 2022, a court sentenced him to a fine of 20 daily rates of 50 euros each for leaving the scene of the accident without permission, but he then went into hiding – until Monday.
Frankfurt Airport: inspection shaft instead of Amsterdam
During a check in the terminal, the federal police also caught a 52-year-old. He was also wanted on an arrest warrant after he had been sentenced to a fine in two different proceedings for both fraudulent performance and coercion in conjunction with fraudulent performance. But because he was unable to pay the bill at Frankfurt Airport, the man is now going to jail for 70 days.
A stolen coffee in November 2015 became fatal to a 50-year-old several years later. The flight to Amsterdam took off from Frankfurt Airport without him. Upon arrival from Tbilisi, federal police officers realized that the man had been wanted on an arrest warrant for alleged robbery since 2017. Instead of in Amsterdam, the man is now in custody. (Esa)
