In Prague, there is a demonstration for the Czechia in the first place. Thousands of people arrived
At 1:00 p.m., an hour before the official start of the event, there were roughly 5,000 people at the venue, according to the Novinek reporter.
Among the speakers at Saturday’s event should be former president of the Agrarian Chamber Zdeněk Jandejsek or energy expert Vladimír Štěpán. According to the website of the event, SPD deputy Jiří Kobza, Trikolora chairwoman Zuzana Majerová, communist candidate for president Josef Skála, economist and dean of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Economics in Prague Miroslav Ševčík and lawyer Jana Zwyrtek Hamplová are also scheduled to speak.
According to the organizers’ plan, the Czech Republic should declare neutrality, “break free from direct political subservience to the EU, WHO or the UN”, secure cheap gas supplies from Russia and “free Czech industry from dependence on foreign companies”.

The organizers also demand “an end to the planned solution of the nation” through war refugees from Ukraine, the restoration of freedom of speech in the public sphere and on social networks, and that doctors start “prescribing again instead of telephone consultations”.
Dozens of opponents of the demonstration stand on the steps of the National Museum with NATO and European Union flags.
Prime Minister Petr Fiala (ODS) was also invited to speak on the stage in the upper part of the square to defend the government’s actions. According to the organizers, he has not yet responded to the invitation.
“The goal of our demonstration is the necessity of change, mainly in solving the issues of prices and energy, especially electricity and gas, which will cause the destruction of our economy already this autumn. We invited Mr. Fiala to negotiate with us, but unfortunately we have no answer. So we will continue to push for this government to end. We will demand her resignation,” said event co-organizer Jiří Havel.
