Traffic around Prague was complicated by accidents on the D7 and D5 highways
Traffic in the Friday afternoon rush hour near Prague was complicated by accidents.
At the 3rd kilometer of the D7 highway, the truck driver first crashed into the truck from behind. Units of the Václav Havel Airport HZS and Central Bohemian Region HZS from the Kladno station were sent to the scene. The patrols of OO PČR Hostivice and DI PČR Praha countryside – west also went to the event.
The highway was open to one lane after the accident. Firefighters covered the leaked operating fluids and directed traffic.
The circumstances of the accidents are under investigation.
A little later, another accident occurred in a convoy on the 1st kilometer of the D5 highway, in the direction of Prague. Five vehicles collided here.
The HZS SČK unit from the Beroun station went to the scene, together with the ZZS Central Bohemian Region crews from the Beroun and Hostivice stations. A patrol from the Rudná u Prahy Highway Department also went to the event.
Firefighters secured the scene of the accident and assisted rescuers. They gradually treated six slightly injured people, some of whom were taken to the Motol hospital. The circumstances of the accidents are under investigation.
On the 4th kilometer of the D5 highway, also in the direction of Prague, two cars collided at approximately the same time, one of which caught fire. Firefighters from Beroun and Rudná responded to the scene. The circumstances of this accident are also being investigated by the highway police.
