HOUSING: Minister Olivier Klein is expected in Dijon on September 8
The date appeared on the agenda of the one François Rebsamen is close to. Olivier Klein had already come to Dijon with Emmanuel Macron last March.
Olivier Klein has planned a trip to Dijon on September 8. It’s a return, as a minister this time. On March 28, the mayor of Clichy-sous-Bois accompanied Emmanuel Macron to the capital of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté for his first official trip as part of the presidential campaign (read our article).
From its creation, Olivier Klein joined the Progressive Federation, the new party founded last March by the mayor of Dijon François Rebsamen to serve as a bridge for socialist or center-left elected representatives wishing to support the action of the President of the Republic (read the press release).
From the ANRU to the Ministry of Towns and Housing
After the re-election of Emmanuel Macron, Olivier Klein was appointed Minister Delegate for Cities and Housing to Christophe Béchu in the government of Elisabeth Borne. He then had to leave the presidency of the National Agency for Urban Renewal (ANRU) to Catherine Vautrin.
Armed arms of the State to ensure the transformation of large housing estates, the ANRU has notably co-financed the renovation of the Grésilles and Fontaine d’Ouche districts in Dijon as well as the Mail in Chenôve.
Urban rodeos, substandard housing, energy sieves and ghost stores (dark stores) have been part of the most media files retained by the new minister since his appointment.
