The 18e edition of the Canadian will begin on Sunday September 11, 2022, in Saint-Germain-la-Blanche-Herbe, near Caen (Calvados). Les Amis des pieds en fête, performed by Guillaume Savary, are ready. The organizing association brings together around a hundred volunteers in the three towns crossed by the runners.

The two courses, one of 6.5 km, the other of 14 km, form a loop which connects Saint-Germain-la-Blanche-Herbe, Authie and Saint-Contest. With the Ardenne Abbey as a backdrop, the route of the race follows the epic of the Canadian Liberators in the summer of 1944. Since last year, the runners have passed through the activity zones included at the entrance of Saint Contest.
The inter-company challenge is added to the inter-municipal challenge to motivate more and more participants. About 200 runners consume the start of this back-to-school race each year, open to everyone from the age of 16. It should also be noted that €1 from each registration is deducted to support the Rêves association, which helps seriously ill children.
