The complex of these schools has grown for the new year with new classrooms and specialist classrooms, which were created by adding an attic. The capacity of both schools thus increased by 240 places. “Students will have, for example, a new chemistry classroom and a ceramic workshop at their disposal. a PC classroom or a library with a music-drama hall,” said Prague 6 spokesman Jiří Hannich. Thanks to the extension, the schools are also barrier-free, as there were new lifts located in the stair towers.

The first-year students also went to ZŠ Smolkova in Prague 12. Here, in addition to their class teachers, they were also welcomed by the director of this residential school in Kamýk, Pavel Šafránek. There are over sixty first graders here this year.
