Prague Zoo invites children to visit on September 1 for one crown
The first day of school can be difficult for children and parents. The Prague Zoo therefore invites all children under the age of fifteen to visit the garden for a symbolic crown on Thursday, September 1. In addition, a number of animal-themed games, activities and competitions are prepared for schoolchildren and preschoolers. During the day, there will also be a special commented feeding meeting at selected exhibits.
Program for Thursday, September 1
10.00 – 16.00 Game station on the terrace of the Education Center
- Animal “best”: Find out which animal in the Prague Zoo is the smallest, whose egg is the largest, and which one had the longest egg. Experienced guides will answer inquisitive questions.
- Are you smarter than a gorilla or a parrot? A sample of food puzzles that our animals have to solve.
- Horns and antlers: Autumn is approaching and with it the deer rutting season. Do you know who wears horns and who wears antlers? Try out the advantages and disadvantages of their wearers.
- Games for the little ones: Put together a maxi puzzle or try our educational pexe and meet our newest residents – Cooper the wombat, nutcrackers named Guo Bao and Run Hou Tang and more!
- Become an animal: Make a mask in our creative workshop and become a gorilla, tiger or lemur.
- Enter your class in the competition and become a guardian of the forest!
