Zapping Foot National Top 10: the best active Ligue 1 scorers
The 5th day of Ligue 1 has just started this Wednesday evening and five matches are on the program from 7 p.m. With OL-Auxerre, Montpellier-Ajaccio, Angers-Reims, Monaco-Troyes and Strasbourg-Nantes, the start of the evening is lively and the matches have just concluded their first act. Check out the sheet music without further ado below.
The scores at the break
As for OL, Les Gones lead 1 but to 0 thanks to a new achievement by Tetê. The Brazilian has been in better shape since the start of the championship, with now 4 goals on the clock. Peter Bosz’s men are doing their game perfectly and could even be ahead with a three or four goal lead. But watch out for Auxerre who could quickly come back to score in the second half if the Gones come to rest on their laurels.
At La Mosson, Montpellier leads 1 but to 0 against Ajaccio with an achievement by Nordin. The Corsicans were reduced to 10 on their side with a red card for Romain Hamouma following a missed acrobatic return from the former Saint-Etienne, who finally hit the head of Mamadou Sakho. Then Montpellier was also reduced to 10 after a hazardous exit from Jonas Omlin, expelled directly like Hamouma. The two teams will therefore finish the match at 10 against 10 and Ajaccio hopes to come back to the score, while the Corsicans had a but refused for an offside position by Spadanuda.
Monaco at 10
Monaco is behind on its lawn against Troyes and the Monegasques are also reduced to 10. The actor of this first act is called Guillermo Maripan, author of the opener before Troyes returns to the scoreboard with a penalty from Florian Tardieu. And Maripan was finally sent off at the end of the first period with a direct red card. Monaco will therefore be hot in the second half and will have to quickly try to come back to the score because Troyes could take advantage of it and score even more goals.
Angers are having a nightmare at home with an ongoing loss to Reims, who lead 2-0 at the break to Raymond-Kopa. The Angevins have a difficult match and Reims simply take advantage of it. Finally, Strasbourg leads 1 goal to 0 against Nantes at home and the Alsatians are in the process of raising their heads, after a difficult start to the season, while Nantes does not intend to let go and will quickly want to come back to score in the second half.
