Lyon formalizes the signing of a young nugget

While Lyon have just sold Lucas Paqueta for 61 million euros and are preparing to sell Houssem Aouar who is courted by Benfica Lisbon and OGC Nice, several players have been sent on loan such as Tino Kadewere who joined Mallorca and Youssouf Koné in Ajaccio. On the other hand, OL have not been recruited much at the end of the transfer window, but have just formalized the signing of a young nugget from the partner club lAS Dakar Sacred Heart.
Indeed, Lyon has just formalized the signing of Pathé Mboup who signs his first professional contract by committing for two years with Olympique Lyonnais. Trained in Senegal since he was 10, he became OL’s fourth recruit from the Dakar Sacré Coeur after Ousseynou Ndiaye, Abdoulaye Ndiaye and Célestino Iala. The young 20-year-old player evaluated in National 2 with the Lyon reserve where he can continue his training.
OL Mercato: Houssem Aouar close to a departure
By not retained Pierre Bosch to face AJ Auxerre as part of the 5th day of Ligue 1, Houssem Aouar spends his last hours in his hometown before flying to England. Two Premier League clubs were eyeing him and trying to secure the Lyonnais’ services. Nottingham Forest is much closer to signing the France international knowing that a deal with the player has already been agreed.
Nevertheless, OL had refused an offer of around 10 million euros from the promoted. Fulham would also like to offer the player as well as OGC Nice and Benfica Lisbon who have already made an offer to Lyon. The last hours of the transfer window will be decisive in the future of Houssem Aouar, but the latter would prefer to join England.
