POLITICIANS IN THEIR OWN WORDS Prague ODS on their Facebook page on August 26 about energy
Andrej Babiš and his assistants, led by ex-Minister of Industry Havlíček, constantly fantasize about what the current government should do differently and better. At the same time, they drove us into the arms of Russia in energy dependence.
How? Even though our secret services advised the Russian Rosatom of the risks of the tender for the completion of Dukovan, Babiš’s minister at the time, Havlíček, decided to send the Russian company a security questionnaire in which he would ask, is that it? This idea of his went under the table only with the revelation that the Russians carried out a terrorist attack in Vrbětice, during which innocent Czech citizens were killed.
What more! Just five years ago, we had about a fifth of our gas secured from Norway. The previous government of Andrej Babiš did nothing to ensure the Czech Republic’s energy security. So it was Babiš’s government that allowed us to be almost 100% dependent on Russia.
Today we have to iron out the problems left behind by Andrej Babiš, Karel Havlíček or Alena Schillerová. That’s why we provided a liquefied gas terminal in the Netherlands, that’s why we’ll help households the most in the entire European Union, that’s why we’re modernizing our army and fulfilling our alliance commitments. Just as we promised.
