RL West: Bad bankruptcy for RWO, first victories for Bocholt and Fortuna Cologne
Rot-Weiß Oberhausen suffered a nasty bankruptcy in the away game in Rödinghausen. 1. FC Bocholt and Fortuna Cologne celebrated their first victories.
Rot-Weiss Oberhausen is in for the away game Roedinghausen got badly under the wheels. The shamrocks lost 5-1 to the 2020 regional league champions. The Terranova team had to accept a deficit of 0:5 already at the break. Julian Wolff (10th), Pierre Kurzen (14th), Vincent Schaub (36th and 40th) and Kevin Hoffmeier (45th) ensure clear conditions even before the half-time break. In the end, Sven Kreyer’s goal (54th) was no more than a cosmetic result.
Of the SC Preussen Munster has, however, after the 0-0 in the previous week at the U23 of Borussia Monchengladbach back on the road to success. Nico Lucas had made it 1-0, Marcel Platzek scored the winning goal for interim coach Marcus John’s team in the 66th minute. They were outnumbered for the last quarter of an hour. Florian Abel, who was responsible for the 1-1 equalizer, saw yellow and red in the 77th minute.
Of the 1. FC Duren hat in Lippstadt meanwhile suffered his first defeat. At 0:3 (goal scorers: Viktor Maier, Phil Halbauer and Henri Matter), Philipp Simon (45th, yellow-red) and Vincent Geimer (79th, red) were sent off early. Of the Wuppertal SV couldn’t get past a 0-0 draw with Borussia Mönchengladbach’s U23s. Also Fortune Cologne celebrated his first win of the season in a 1-0 win in Wiedenbrück. Lars Lokotsch scored the golden goal of the day.
Alemannia Aachen had already beaten Rot Weiss Ahlen 1-0 on Friday. The second team of 1. FC Köln defeated the U23s from Fortuna Düsseldorf 3-1.
