“Romania will continue to be the most important supporter of the Republic of Moldova, its citizens and its European integration”, President Klaus Iohannis said on Saturday, on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the independence of the neighboring country.
“Warm congratulations to President Maia Sandu and the citizens of the Republic of Moldova on the occasion of Independence Day! Romania will continue to be the most important supporter of the Republic of Moldova, its citizens and its European integration. The EU – the only option for a prosperous & democratic future!” said the President of Romania in a message posted on his Twitter account on Saturday.
