HZVV from Hoogeveen returns empty-handed from Amsterdam after a duel against WV-HEDW
HZVV failed to take home the three points in the first league game of the new season. In Amsterdam, the team from Hoogeveen lost 2-1 against WV-HEDW from Amsterdam.
With the name fourth division better the main division one that past within the football of last season, in which it is in a good eighth place.
WV-HEDW (Wilhelmina Vooruit-Hortus Eendracht Does Winning) from Watergraafsmeer in Amsterdam is effectively a new and stronger one. The Amsterdammers are active on a national level for the first time in their existence. During that baptism of fire, the home team got off to a very good start, as HZVV was already trailing 1-0 after a minute of play.
Ten minutes before time the decision against goal
HZVV straightened its back and was level again after fifteen minutes of play. Sander Dzemidzic shot a free kick past the Amsterdam keeper. After the break, the score remained 1-1 for a long time, but ten minutes before the end HZVV had to concede a goal when an Amsterdammer passed the ball behind keeper Rodney Rosink.
,,Who only saw the first twenty minutes of the game, I would have said that HZVV would win, despite that quick goal”, said coach Rick Mulder after the end. ,,The decline in the match was too great for us. We had the last of that last year, but I thought we would be further in it now. It completely collapsed after those twenty minutes. After the break we had put it down well and we started well. But again we fell. In any case, we can work with that. In addition, counter goals arise from two stupid loss of the ball. That shouldn’t happen, of course.”
