What would happen if an IAEA procession left for the Zaporizhia power plant
The control panel is out of control. An all too obvious question arises about inspection. If we did it in many, maybe someone would have to answer
Odessa, from our correspondent. I happen to ask myself questions, it will happen to you too. One concerns theAiea, the International Atomic Energy Agency. First, knowing almost nothing, like you, I suppose, unless you are a scientist of the IAEA who is so nice to read essentials, I looked at the news: the IAEA has existed since 1957, in 2005 it had the Nobel Peace Prize, its current managing director is an Argentine, Rafael Grossi – since 2019. It is based in Vienna. Central laboratory near Vienna, and other research centers in the Principality of Monaco and Trieste. Member countries (in 2019) 171. Employees (in 2010) 2,200, of which 350 are inspectors. Six departments, one of which is dedicated to nuclear safety. It reports regularly to the Security Council and the United Nations General Assembly. It is competent for all health-related problems military and civilian radiationin agreement with the World Health Organization.
I moved on to the next entry: Nuclear safety, divided into two branches: Nuclear safety (accidents), “the achievement of appropriate operating conditions, the prevention of accidents or the mitigation of their consequences, which gives rise to the protection of workers, the community and the environment from unnecessary radiation risks”. E Nuclear safety (malicious acts), “the prevention and detection and related response, with respect to theft, sabotage, unauthorized access, illegal transfer or other malicious acts pertaining to nuclear material, other radioactive substances or structures associated with them”. Read the rest for yourself, especially if you love strong sensations. Even if you hate them. And now we come to the question. There is a nuclear power plant, the largest in Europe, militarily occupied by the Russian invasion forces, subject to tampering, irresponsible technical management, documented military use, sabotage activities and even targeted and mutually accused bombings, declared technically out control, so as to threaten a catastrophe for much of the European continent. Every day, for many days now, the contenders declare that they accept or even wish to have an inspection of the plant, heads of state and ministries of defense make it the subject of long and vain telephone calls, newspapers and newscasts title and report a divergence on the path that any inspectors will follow to arrive in Enerhodar, the town in the Zaporizhia oblast where the occupied headquarters are located.
REQUEST. Because a procession of 50, or 150, or 350 IAEA inspectors, led by the director general, does not leave Vienna tomorrow morning (the day before yesterday morning, a fortnight ago, etc.) for Enerhodar, Zaporizhia, simply by communicating the time of departure and the expected time of arrival – close, from Vienna to Enerhodar, is little more than from Vipiteno to Trapani – and declaring that they have no interest in everything else, including the possibility that their own vehicles along the way civilians and unarmed engraved sign anyone’s fire?
This is the question. It’s too much, I know. Too obvious. If we did it in many, I don’t know, in 35 million, in 278 million, maybe someone would have to answer.
