- More than 80 government websites have been the target of some in the last three days cyber attacks launched from outside the Republic of Moldova. Public platforms and portals were targeted, but the impact on their operation was limited, writes Jurnal.md. Hackers sent a large number of connection requests or a large volume of data to overload the processing resources of information systems, thus wanting to make websites non-functional.
- Continuing the same topic, Ziarul de Gardă quotes the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Natalia Gavriliță, who claims that the authorities continue to watch over this area, so that all institutions are functional. On this reform, the government in Chisinau would cooperate with Sweden and the Netherlands, which will help to strengthen the coordination mechanism of actions related to administrative reform. The government mentions that the Republic of Moldova needs an efficient central and local public administration in the context of obtaining the status of a candidate country for the European Union.
- An initiative of consolidation of the political center comes from the honorary president of the Democratic Party, Dumitru Diacov. He wants to unite the representatives of several right-wing and center-right parties and has already discussed with some non-parliamentary political formations. Contacted by Agora.md, Dumitru Diacov said that there is a need to strengthen a political center, because the parliamentary powers from the opposition and from the government do not cooperate with each other. The idea to create such a formation came from the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament, which would not have been able to identify a political ally in the Republic of Moldova.
