PSD Moldova moves to the headquarters of the Democrats: “A space of permanent friendship and collaboration”
The office for the Republic of Moldova of the Social Democratic Party of Romania is moving to the Chisinau headquarters of the Democratic Party of Moldova, located on Maria Cebotari Street. The interim president of the PDM, Monica Babuc emphasized that the inauguration of the PSD Office in Chisinau will contribute to the development of the strategic partnership between the two political formations.
“Based on the agreement signed between the PDM and the PSD Romania and following a meeting, on June 20, with the President of the PSD from Romania, Mr. Marcel Ciolacu, I have joint stability agreement to offer a space of friends and permanent collaboration to the Office for the Republic of Moldova . of PSD Romania in the headquarters of the Democratic Party. It is natural that two parties of social-democratic origin, which are part of the same European and international political family: the Party of European Socialists (PES) and the Socialist International, should contribute to the realization of the European work of the Republic of Moldova, especially from the perspectives that have status as a candidate for joining the EU”, declared the interim president of the Democrats, Monica Babuc.
For his part, the president of the Organization for the Republic of Moldova of PSD Romania, Iurie Ciocan, mentioned that the Office inaugurated today will continue political communication with all Romanian citizens.
“Our goal is to inform Romanian citizens about the activity of the PSD in Romania, to organize actions to support the citizens of the Republic of Moldova, as well as those who also have Romanian citizenship. Based on the collaboration agreement between PDM and PSD in Romania, we established several joint actions. The first action, which will take place this autumn, is the organization of the joint Forum of the representatives of the Local Public Administration elected by the PDM and PSD, for the initiation of joint collaboration projects for the benefit of the citizens”, said Iurie Ciocan.
PSD and PDM signed a collaboration agreement in May 2021. The president of the branch for the Republic of Moldova of the Social Democratic Party in Romania is the former president of the CEC, Iurie Ciocan.
