Icelandic Berglind Björg Thorvaldsdottir signs in Paris for a two-year term
PSG announces the arrival at the club of Icelandic striker Berglind Björg Thorvaldsdottir. She has just signed her contract which will take her until June 30, 2024. The attacker has already played in France. Between 2020 and 2022, the player wore the Le Havre AC jersey.
On the PSG websiteBerglind Björg Thorvaldsdottir indicates that “becoming a player for this huge club that is Paris Saint-Germain is an incredible feeling. It’s always been a dream of mine, so I’m really happy to be here“.
The Icelandic player, now 30 years old, is 1.75 meters tall. She resumed her professional career at the age of 15 at Breiðablik Kópavogur. She then joined ÍB Vestmannaeyja for one season before joining the University of Florida in 2012.
She played in an Italian, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish team.
In the Iceland team, the striker now has 66 caps and 12 goals.
