Coach Eleni Kapogianni welcomed the “green” athletes along with the rest of the staff and stated that: “Panathinaikos’ goals are always the titles and we are here for that. We are very happy with the roster we have put together, they are athletes that we feel will add that extra something to a team style of play that was lacking due to the conditions last year.
We think these girls will go the extra mile to get us as far as we can. We welcome them, we believe in them a lot, we believe in our potential as a team and it remains to show on the pitch. We are privileged to be in this club, because it has ’embraced’ us, as has the world of Panathinaikos. We love them and we expect them to come to endure them in the stadium”.
