Peter Ďurica (left) waits with his lawyer for the court to start hearing his claim for compensation for lost salary.
JPeter Ďurica, one of the former most powerful men of the Prague municipality, can get tens of millions of crowns from the capital. The Supreme Court had previously ruled that the notice he received from the then mayor Bohuslav Svoboda (ODS) was invalid. The official was among the close friends of the convicted businessman Roman Janoušek and, according to the Swiss judiciary, he also had signature rights to his accounts there.
