Firefighters intervened in several places in the capital due to persistent rain. For example, water flooded the underpass at the station in Vršovice. Firefighters reported about it on their twitter.
The so-called ČHMÚ flood alert applies in Prague and Černošice from 3:10 p.m. until midnight. Potok Botič was then on the first level in Průhonice and Jesenice near Prague, where it fell just below the third level. The first level also applied to Skalica in Zadní Poříčí in the Příbram region. According to meteorologists, the danger does not only concern Botič, but also other smaller streams in the vicinity of the metropolis. Among other things, people should limit movement in waterlogged areas where there is a risk of falling trees. In Prague, a warning against extreme precipitation also applies until 19:00. Over 50 millimeters of rain fell at Praha-Libuš station in the last five hours.
Since Friday evening, firefighters have registered several dozen trips, most often to fallen branches or to pump water from flooded areas. “We are pumping water in the area of Vršovice and Nuslí, for example from the underpass in Ukrainská Street or from the garage in Sámova Street,” the firemen said on Saturday before 3 p.m. Due to the flooded underpass, train traffic at Praha-Vršovice station was restricted, some lines did not stop at the station. “It is not safe for passengers to exit and board,” České dráhy said on its Twitter account.
There were also problems on the main railway line from Prague to Ústí nad Labem. At Nelahozevsi, a tree fell into the tracks, so traffic was conducted on only one track. Trains could thus be up to 15 minutes late.

Due to unfavorable weather and unsuitable terrain, the match of the fourth round of the first football league between Prague Bohemians 1905 and Hradec Králové will not be played on Saturday.
From Friday to Saturday morning, it rained most in the vicinity of Pilsen and in a strip stretching north-south through Prague and the Central Bohemian Region. In 24 hours, 20 to 50 millimeters of water fell there, even almost 85 millimeters in the Zbiroh Švabín station.
