Toulouse: the State will ban anti-vaccination posters against Covid-19
A prefectural decree will ban posters hostile to vaccination against Covid-19 which have flourished in Toulouse in recent weeks on several billboards, announced the Secretary of State in charge of Citizenship on Friday.
“Alerted to the anti-vaccination poster campaign underway in Toulouse, I asked the prefect to use the recommended legal remedies to put an end to it”, indicates Sonia Backes on her Twitter account. “A prohibition order will be taken, and a report translated to the Public Prosecutor”, she specifies.
On panels located on the grounds of several individuals in Toulouse, large posters denouncing supposed side effects resulting from vaccination against Covid have been placed.
A “campaign” organized by opponents of vaccines
“1 cardiovascular accident for 100 injections: the health of our children is better than experimental vaccines”, can we read on this panel planted in the garden of a private residence in the Cocus district in the north of the city. The message displayed on the panels is accompanied by a link to a European database on the adverse effects of vaccines against Covid-19. However, the web page specifies that “the information provided on this website does not undergo any confirmation of a potential link between the drug and the effect(s) observed”.
This veritable “advertising campaign” is the work of the self-proclaimed “Independent Scientific Council”, of “Réinfo Covid” and “Réinfo Libertés”, collectives made up of health professionals opposed to vaccination.
On Wednesday, the prefecture of Haute-Garonne declared that it was seized of the case in the company of ARS Occitanie and the departmental council of the order of doctors in the department.
