According to a study, the best pastries in France should be tasted… in Toulouse!

This is a new medal that the city can add to its list. Toulouse (Haute Garonne)) is the agglomeration where we find the best pastries of France according to HelloFreshwhich is a meal kit company.
She decided to conduct the survey based on the opinions received by pastries in the 10 largest cities in France: Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Toulouse, Nice, Nantes, Montpellier, Strasbourg, Bordeaux and Lille.
And it is the Pink City which ranks first.
Toulouse: best pastry
Chocolate eclair, nun, strawberry tart… All of its pastries make you want to, and obviously, you are lucky enough to live in Toulouse to be able to taste it. HelloFrench inspected with a magnifying glass the notes deposited on Google Maps and evaluating the bakeries of the big cities of France. And although the results are close, the Pink City takes first place with an average score of: 4.56/5. It’s Nantes who arrives last, with all the same the good score of: 4.30/5.
The most affordable macaron
And this is not the only title won by Toulouse. According to this same study, the city would propose the most affordable macaroons of these 10 agglomerations. With an average unit price of €1.41 compared to €2.65 for Paris, last in the ranking on this theme.
The other titles
The study also assessed two other criteria: the average number of patisseries in urban areas. Toulouse is fourth with 33 patisseries in town.
But also the number of pastries per 100,000 inhabitants. Here, the city is ranked third with 3 pastries per 100,000 inhabitants.
