In view of the latest statements from the prefect, Le Havre Seine Métropole has therefore taken the decision to make all public transport on the LiA network free during this day, Saturday August 13.
Free admission applies from midnight on the entire LiA network (bus, tram and funicular as well as the FilBus, MobiFil, LiA de Nuit and FlexiLiA services),
The urban community also specifies: “The park and ride facilities at the entrances to the city will be freely accessible to promote the connection to public transport. Ticket validation devices will be deactivated in each vehicle. Users do not have to validate their title on the way up. This measure aims to encourage the public to favor public transport rather than private cars. »
The speed has dropped by 20 km/h
The prefect of the Normandy region has triggered the alert procedure for the persistence of air pollution by suspended particles (PM10) for tomorrow, Saturday August 13, 2022.
Consequently :
- Derogations from the ban on burning green waste in the open air are suspended;
- The maximum authorized road speed on the entire network is lowered by 20 km/h, without however falling below 70 km/h: 130→110 km/h (motorways), 110→90 km/h (fast lanes) , 90/80→70km/h. Speed checks can be performed on the axes concerned.
