A 41-year-old man was arrested at Rouen (Seine Maritime) on the morning of Wednesday August 10, 2022. It is 8:15 a.m. when police officers, on patrol at Avenue Jean-Rondeaux, see the individual without helmet and without gloves on a scooter. He just ran a red light.
“He turned off the engine with the wires”
The police then went to his level for the interceptor, and found that the pilot had “turned off the engine of his vehicle with the wires”, as reported by a judicial source. A quick run through the stolen vehicle file and the complainants finds a match with a report made on August 5th.
The contacted victim recognizes his scooter which was returned to him. The 41-year-old man was taken into custody.
