Near Toulouse: the mystery around the shots in the parking lot in a hypermarket elucidated
Powerful detonations held the parking lot of the Carrefour hypermarket in Portet-sur-Garonne. In reality, it was a settling of accounts against the backdrop of attempted murder.
The scene is worthy of a big show gangster movie. It is almost 9 p.m. on August 8, the Carrefour de Portet-sur-Garonne is about to close. In the parking lot of the hypermarket, powerful detonations hold back. An overexcited young man accompanied by his stepfather has just fired several shots in the air. Just to impress his “prey”, a boy of the same age. A fight broke out between the protagonists in the shopping mall. The gendarmes of Le Muret, present on the spot for a completely different matter, separate the belligerents and embark all these little people.
The initiator of the brawl, returning from vacation in Portugal, had been warned by an acquaintance via Snapchat that his “target” was doing his lessons at the mall. He is convinced that she is the author of the shots which aimed a good week ago at her mother and her cadets aged 1 and 13 years. The three protagonists are taken into custody. After two days of interrogation, the author of the shots in the air is indicted for violence with a weapon and placed under judicial supervision. His stepfather is released without any charges being brought against him.
Insults and bullets going through the walls
For the third thief, things get tough. He is indicted for attempted murder and imprisoned in a remand center. According to our information, the facts date back to the evening of August 1, in Muret, avenue de l’Europe. The individual in question would have landed in fury at the foot of the home of the forties. He reportedly started insulting her copiously as she closed the shutters. Taken by a stroke of blood, he would then have aimed this lady and fired two shots. She managed to find shelter with her two children. One bullet lodged in the wall and the other went through the living room. She would have formally recognized the shooter. She knows this because he produced the same schools as her son. A local resident, a direct witness to the shooting, confirms her version of the facts.
“By a miracle, no one was injured but one of the projectiles could have ricocheted and caused a tragedy”, slips Me Nicolas Raynaud Delage, the lawyer for the mother and her son. According to the lawyer, his young client wanted “simply to neutralize the author of the shots against his mother and hand him over to the police”. Me Dunac, counsel for the young man suspected of attempted homicide, wants to be confident for the rest of the investigation. “In my opinion, we are more about violence with a weapon than a real attempted murder. Anyway, for the time being, my client denies his participation in the events of August 1.”
