The urban anti-rodeo operations continues in Toulouse. This Tuesday, August 9, new interventions were planned in the agglomeration. In total, seven interventions took place during the day, one of which led to thearrest of a man at the Ramée park in Tournefeuille. The individual was riding a scooter without protective devices. During the check, he was in possession of a small quantity of narcotics as well as two knives.
Subjected to a saliva screening, the driver of the two-wheeler tested positive for narcotics. According to a police source contacted by The Independent Opinion, he is a 20-year-old young man unknown to the police. Placed in police custody, he was released for a summons on May 15 for a comparison on prior recognition of credibility (CRPC).
10,000 interventions in August in France
Note that in parallel with this arrest, the police were checked eight two-wheelers on the day of Tuesday, August 9. Six reports were drawn up, two of which required the immobilization of the vehicle. The fines concerned several reasons: lack of insurance, removable license plate, lack of gloves, etc.
The police are pursuing theintensification of controls against urban rodeos decided by Gérald Darmanin after the drama of Pontoise. Friday, August 5, two children were seriously injured after being knocked down by a motorcycle. The Minister of the Interior announced that 10,000 operations should be carried out during the month of August in France in order to combat this phenomenon.
