Toulouse. She steals a granny’s credit card in the metro… and gets caught thanks to a jeweler

The story begins in mid-July 2022, in the subway of Toulouse. A nonagenarian is approached by two young women who use a well-honed technique: one diverts her attention while the other steals her wallet from her handbag.
They try to make purchases in a jewelry store
A few days later, the two young women are shopping in a jewelry store in Turnsheet, with the bank card in the stolen wallet. But in the meantime, the nonagenarian has opposed and the payment is refused.
Suspicious, the jeweler then threatens to call the police. The two young women then fled, failing on the spot with the stolen bank card and a handbag. A handbag in which there is an identity card which will put the police on the trail of a 22-year-old young woman, already known for similar acts, but without an identified address.
Spotted at the Jean-Jaurès station
The young woman in question was recently spotted by the police officers of the departmental public transport security service, at the Jean-Jaurès metro station.
Arrested and taken into custody, the young woman partially acknowledged the facts which he was accused of, while minimizing his participation by incriminating his comparison. She was presented to court this Wednesday, August 10 as part of a comparison on advance credit recognition.
