Kazan authorities spoke about the results of the exams — RealnoeVremya.com
This year, in Kazan, the final certification of schoolchildren for the first time in two years was held in a “pre-pandemic format”. In total, 18,000 schoolchildren of the city passed it, of which 11.8 were passing through, most of them were just finishing the ninth grade. They had to pass two compulsory exams – Russian language and mathematics – and two elective exams. The most interesting elective subjects in Kazan were informatics, social studies and geography.
The average OGE score in mathematics in Kazan received a score of 3.8 points – in 2021, the average score was 3.76. At the same time, the average OGE grade in English among ninth-graders fell, amounting to only 4.2 points (a year ago it was 4.4 points).
Of the passed exams, 56% of ninth grade graduates are ready to go to the tenth grade. The rest are going to enter institutions of secondary vocational education.
Eleventh-graders were required to take exams in English and mathematics. The average score in Kazan in the end in English was 72 points, also falling from 2021, when it was 74.5. While the average score in specialized mathematics increased from 60.4 to 64.5 points.
A decrease in the average score in Kazan schools was also recorded in such subjects at the Unified State Exam as biology, computer science and chemistry, Irek Rizvanov, head of the education department, said today at the executive committee. caused unpleasant surprise in the head of the executive committee Rustem Gafarov, who noted that Tatarstan and Kazan itself are still famous for their developed petrochemical production, and Kazan does not need to recruit chemists for such enterprises “from outside”.
