What you need to know about Raynal station:
It is one of the three stations (along with Bonnefoy and Matabiau) which will serve the urban project “Grand Matabiau Quai d’Oc”, of which it is located on the northern edge. The Raynal station will be deployed on the edge of Avenue Collignon.
Today a mix of industrial zone (with in particular the municipal workshops of Raisin, where demolitions have resumed this year) and residential sectors, the district will experience a big metamorphosis.
The station will be located at the interface of the current residential district and the ambitious project for Grand Matabiau, which plans to build higher buildings alongside the railway, and to improve the links to the Canal du Midi.

The facilities planned at Raynal:
According to Tisséo’s projections, “the station will be organized around a square, which will host services and local shops”, and which will offer access to the new park created at the heart of the sector’s urban project”. Still according to the transport authority of the agglomeration, “pedestrian and cycle continuities strengthened will converge towards this place, favoring the links with the constituted districts as well as towards the Canal du Midi”.
