Aurillac continues, Rouen surprises – petitbleu.fr
Many Pro D2 teams played warm-up matches this weekend. Make the point.
While Agen will play its first match on Wednesday evening in Béziers (8 p.m.), several of its Pro D2 competitors will undergo their comeback this weekend.
Not Aurillac who had already beaten Massy (24-14) on August 1. The Cantaliens continued with a victory over Nevers on Friday evening (39-27). Solid in the second half, the Aurillac stadium appeared to be in very good shape before the resumption of the championship.
For its part, Béziers received Grenoble at Sauclières in a very open game. Led almost the whole match, the Héraultais tore themselves in front of their public to obtain the draw (31-31). The SUA is warned for tomorrow evening, facing a team that wants to be ambitious this season.
Agen’s other opponent during this preseason, Soyaux-Angoulême, was no match for Colomiers. A heavy defeat 40 to 12 against a Colombe accustomed to the top of the table of Pro D2.
Montauban without glasses
In Leucate, Montauban had great difficulty getting rid of Narbonne, which had a turbulent summer. The Tarn-et-Garonnais won 12 to 7. They will win Perpignan next Friday then Castres on the 19th. Opponent of the SUA during the third day, the USM therefore wants to gain strength before the start of the season.
Finally, on Saturday evening, somewhat to everyone’s surprise, Rouen largely dominated a Vannes team that many present as very serious outsiders this season. The Normans recited, winning without trembling on their land 31 to 7. The Bretons defeated Nevers next Friday with the desire to correct the situation.
