The president of Chega, André Ventura, said today, in Viana do Castelo, that in “September or October” he will present a party proposal to speed up the legislation regarding the vote of emigrants.
Speaking during an Emigrant Festival, Ventura also said that Portugal “very, very, very much” wants emigrants to return to the country and appealed to the Government to call for incentives for this return.
In September, we will, like October, or as a proposal finally for effective legislation, which cannot be quickly voted on, “We will have the problems that occurred in October or as a turnaround we promised ourselves this year”, he said.
For the leader of Chega, it is necessary to take up the issue of the emigration vote “at the beginning of the legislature”.
“In September, we must all sit down and reach a possible consensus for voting and participation of our emigrant”, he defended.
On the other hand, the fiscal measures will be considered fundamental to draw the emigrant community to Portugal, appealing to another country of the government if the possibility of money in “freely” to bring to the country that they won in the sense.
André Ventura was thought that the Government has “treated badly” the emigrant community, highlighting that Santos Silva, president of the Assembly of the Republic, currently the head of the list, PS for the Outside of the Assembly of the Republic in the last legislative.
