Jempy Drucker appointed new national coach of Luxembourg

The Luxembourg Cycling Federation (FSCL Cycling) announced this week the appointment of Jempy Drucker as national coach. Retired since the end of last season, the 35-year-old Luxembourger took office on August 1. Winner of a stage Tour of Spain in 2016, the former rider of the BMC Racing Teamof the BORA-hansgrohe and some Cofidis will take care of the road, but also of the cyclo-cross. The Sandweiler native addressed in a press release.

“In Luxembourg, we have always had young talents who have found their way to the world elite. I consider that my mission is above all to prepare the following generations as well as possible for modern cycling. In recent years, a lot has changed. in terms of professionalism in cycling and I wish to bring all my experience so that Luxembourg athletes continue to find their place in the leading professional teams. Multidisciplinary training also plays an increasingly important role.”
