An exhibition route in four rooms of the Abattoirs
The course is designed as a crossing of the different sofas of the sky, plunging visitors into bluish atmospheres, to offer an immersive experience. Four rooms of the museum des Abattoirs de Toulouse thus evolve at the exhibition.
“Air Topologies” is the centerpiece of the exhibition, a immersive video triptych that traces the radical transformation of the sky by Man. A journey that goes back to the first developments of aviation and space, through extracts from archives and testimonies collected by the artist.
In two other rooms, there are complete works including excerpts described in “Topologies of Air” : “Restricted Airspace”, “Airspace Rights” and “Airspace Tribunal”. The first is a exhibition picture on the military colonization of the sky. The two others give the floor in video to specialists of several sky-related disciplines.
Finally, a last space designed by the artist makes it possible to prolong the reflection with the media and research that inspired it for his creations.
