Medieval festival, Vianden (Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 August)
The 19th edition of the colorful bustle takes place from July 30 until August 7, 2022 and promises a diverse and spectacular program. The biggest medieval spectacle in Luxembourg and the Greater Region, in front of a grandiose setting, between chivalric romance, medieval music and the fun of jugglers. The Knights Festival has now become an annual event at Vianden Castle. Nine days pendant, more than 100 attendees will fill the entire castle with medieval life and provide a varied program: knight camps, fire and combat shows, pranksters, minnesingers and demonstrations of birds of prey allow young and old to immerse themselves.
Let yourself be enchanted and spend an unforgettable moment at Vianden Castle. Every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (last entry at 6 p.m.).
Magnum Amnesty International, Diekirch (Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 August)
The selection of images to discover returns to 60 years of mobilization for human rights and testifies to the plurality of the fights carried out by Amnesty international porte. From the struggle for civil rights in the United States to the current mobilizations for more climate justice, from the fight against enforced disappearances in South America during the 1970s and 1980s to the persecutions of which Rohingya people are victims today in Myanmar, from the end of apartheid in South Africa to the recurring threats to the right to abortion… This exhibition highlights 20 photographs closely linked to the causes that Amnesty defends and the actions that it carries out.

Guided tour of medieval Metz, Metz (Sunday August 7)
On August 7, 2022, Decrypt with André Baheux medieval Metz and comment on how you lived there while crossing the Saint-Thiébault, Saint-Louis, Porte des Allemands and Sainte-Croix districts. A presentation of Cocteau’s stained glass windows instead of the Saint-Maximin church.
This walk is scheduled on Thursdays and Sundays. It can be complemented by the walk in Metz Royal and Imperial scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays where you can discover twenty centuries of the great and small history of Metz. Meet at the station (30 minutes, Imperial district, citadel, esplanade, comedy, cathedral).
City-Plage in Metz (Saturday August 6 and Sunday August 7)
This summer and until August 15, you can enjoy the swimming pools, the fine sandy beach, the sports fields and the various sporting, cultural and recreational activities thanks to Metz Plage, a responsible event which benefits from two labels for the seventh consecutive year (“Plage sans Tabac” and “Sustainable Development – sport is committed”).
