Chris Evans (ex-Monaco and Orléans) signs in Romania
Former Monaco and Orleans player Chris Evans has signed for Rapid Bucharest in Romania.
After the signing of Darius Johnson-Odom from the former Orléans and Le Mans player, Rapid Bucharest registers the arrival of Chris Evans (2.03, 31 years old).
The American winger hopes to revive in Romania after two anecdotal seasons spent on the side of Virtus Roma and Hapoel Eilat in Israel with only 2 games played in the two clubs. Passed by the French championship, the 3-4 position made AS Monaco happy in the Basketball Champions League (BCL) and in the championship where he shot 14 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists in 31 minutes per game and win the Leaders Cup with the principality club during the 2016-2017 season. Chris Evans also distinguished himself with Orléans during the 2019-2020 season where he split 14.9 points at 48% on shots, 5 rebounds and 1.3 assists on average) alongside Brandon Jefferson and Miralem Halilović.
He will therefore discover a new championship and a new country, Romania, after having traveled to various countries (Greece, Italy, Israel, Argentina, France, Spain, Turkey) throughout his career.
Another crazy shot from Rapid Bucharest from Romania. Having signed Darius Johnson-Odom, they have now agreed a deal with Chris Evans, ex-Monaco, Gran Canaria, Pinar Karsiyaka. @Sportando, @Eurohoopsnet pic.twitter.com/LIeLOkcuab
