Prague 5: The exchange of land will enable the construction of a connection between Barrandov and Slivenc

The Prague 5 district is preparing an exchange of land in the locality of Wassermanova Street with a private investor. This will enable the construction of a new sidewalk and a connection with Slivenc via K Barrandova Street.
“Our goal when negotiating with an investor is to secure residents in a given locality. In this case, we managed to negotiate the needs for the construction of a sports hall, a doctor’s office, as well as the acquisition of land for the necessary pedestrian connection between Barrandov and Slivenc,” says councilor Zdeněk Doležal (ODS).
“We don’t want to hinder the development of Prague 5, that would make no sense. But we must carefully consider that the pace of new construction also matches the infrastructure. The investor must be responsible for this knowledge, and I am glad that we managed to negotiate the acquisition of land, which is needed to build the long-missing pedestrian connection between Prague 5 and Slivenc,” explains the procedure of the municipal district, Prague 5 Deputy Mayor Martin Damašek (TOP 09).
