Metro D: Lawsuit from the Pankrácka company, led by Pirátka
DPP started in the second half of April this year construction of the section from Pankrác to Olbrachtov , which will be connected by the section on Nové Dvory Street. The section from Nové Dvory to Depo Písnice will be the last to be built. The total costs should tentatively be 52.09 billion crowns when inflation is taken into account.
Action
“It’s about being able to comment on the lawsuit in general and defend our position and point of viewso we decided to join it as an interlocutor,” Scheinherr said.
According to the deputy, the company filed the lawsuit in May of this year, but it had procedural errors when it was delivered to the wrong court. “As for the information I have, I’m still figuring out where it will actually be assigned. but to comment on that lawsuit and explain why the city is proceeding the way it is,” Scheinherr said. According to him, just like the court, it is impossible to predict whether complications may arise during the construction of the metro due to the lawsuit.
Former Pirate
The Pankráck company is led by Marie Jelínková, a former member of the Pirates, for whom she was elected to the council of Prague 4. The Pirates first called on her to resign, when she did not do so herself, they expelled her from the representative club last August. In the past, her position regarding metro D has also criticized the mayor. “I contacted Mrs. Jelínková on this matter by phone contacted. Withdrawal of the appeal is not possible from her point of view, because she only acts in it as a person authorized by approx. 70 local residents“, previously described Hřib for Blesk.
The Pankrácká společnost association appealed against the construction a long time ago. For example, the construction of a pile wall near the future Olbrachtova station bothers them for a long timethe size of the construction site or the felling of overgrown greenery.
Problems
The preparation of the construction of metro D involved a number of problems. The city had to come to an agreement with the landowners along the planned route. The Pankrácká společnost association filed, among other things, accused the municipality of system support, which the Ministry of Transport subsequently rejected. A counter-complaint from the same complainants was also dealt with issuing a building permit. The Antimonopoly Office also dealt with a complaint about the tender in which the DPP selected the construction contractor. This complaint was also dismissed.
