“Gérard Collomb stirs up hatred” according to Valentin Lungenstrass (EELV)
It is not good to contradict the ecologists.
Gérard Collomb has been learning the lesson for two years. Now in opposition, the former mayor of Lyon is regularly mocked, whatever the subject he brings up.
Finally, it is on insecurity that he spoke, whether during the recent fatal shooting of the Duchère, the death of Gérard Corneloup or the lynching of three police officers at the Guillotière.
And it is precisely on this last subject that Gérard Collomb was rebuffed.
This Thursday, Valentin Lungenstrass was the guest of CNEWS. And the deputy mayor of Lyon in charge of Mobility denounced the proposals of the former Minister of the Interior: “Gérard Collomb stirs up hatred. He himself said he was afraid that we would live face to face, I believe that he stirs up this situation. The situation in Gabriel-Péri has been there for a certain number of years, including during the mandate of Gérard Collomb, in particular 2018-2019. Grégory Doucet indicated during the campaign that the Guillotière was going to be a priority of our mandate”.
“Gérard Collomb says that insecurity plagues the city but on the one hand this is not the case, and on the other hand we are in a situation where we must have a certain humility”continued the young elected ecologist.
Valentin Lungenstrass then called for the establishment of a “short-term action plan with the human presence of the police, but also a long-term plan and that’s what we are doing in place. with prevention, local policing and social support”.
