“In the region, it is probably the only camp in cooperation with Slavia, which we agreed on in the spring, and perhaps the first historic camp with Slavia at all. We thought we would try to make a camp for boys from the region to ensure local football happenings. We will see how the cooperation will continue, next year we would like to repeat it or at least try to organize a camp under the banner of SK,” stated SK Rakovník Libor Šíma.

Camp Slavia takes place every week in different corners of the country and anyone can sign up for it. In Rakovník, almost ninety percent of its members are from the local football clubs SK, Tatran and Nové Strašecí. “And we have two more boys from Hostoun, one from Motorlet and I think one more boy is from another club,” added Šíma, who is himself a member of the coaching team. “Besides her, Martin Novák and two coaches from Slavia also make up,” he added.
The young athletes complete four phases of training throughout the day, with each day focusing on a different skill. On Thursday, a friendly match between older pupils and teenage girls of Slavia takes place as part of the camp.
