Siena, a drunken American couple tries to open the door with an umbrella but misses the building
Reported by the State Police of Siena for American tourists, husband and wife, who broke into an apartment building in Siena completely drunk. It is late at night when in recent days a report arrives at the Operations Room of the Police Headquarters of two subjects, a man and a woman who, in the entrance hall of a building in the historic center of Siena, insist on violently striking and inviting the doors of entrance of some apartments, using the tip of some umbrellas. The police officers of the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office, arrived shortly afterwards, ascertain the presence, on the third floor of the building, of an American couple; the woman is lying on the ground in such a drunken state that she cannot speak and move; like her her husband, also in an evident state of intoxication who tries, in vain, to lift her off the ground.
Noting the critical condition of the woman, the police immediately alert an ambulance that transports her to the emergency room. Once the drunkenness has been disposed of, the two are taken to the Police Headquarters for the identification procedures and for the ascertainment and contestation of the crimes detected by the agents.
It is a couple of American tourists, on holiday in Siena, who entered that building believing it was the structure where they were staying and, unable to open the door of what they thought was their apartment, they tried to force the lock, using umbrellas, hitting her violently and also raging on other nearby apartments.
At the end of the activity, having also acquired the complaints of the owners, they reported them to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for trespassing, aggravated damage and failure to produce an identification document, as well as fining them, of course, for their blatant state of drunkenness.
