4:40 p.m.: a vehicle on fire on the A36 in Côte-d’Or
If you are driving on the A36 motorway in Côte-d’Or, near Esbarres, a vehicle on fire is reported by APRR, at kilometer point 190 in the west-east direction.
In addition, on the A6 motorway, APRR advises against access from Auxerre south in the Lyon – Paris direction. An accident has indeed occurred further north, and causes a traffic jam of 3 km.
3:30 p.m.: damaged vehicles on the A39 motorway are being evacuated. Traffic continues to be disrupted in this area.
We also know a little more about this accident, which occurred at kilometer point 7.6. According to the firefighters, 5 minor injuries were taken care of and transported to Dijon.
2:30 p.m.: two accidents in Côte-d’Or
Two accidents occurred in the space of an hour on the Côte-d’Or motorway network.
On the A36, an accident occurred after the Fontaine toll barrier, towards Beaune. A patroller will go on site, indicates Motorway information.
An accident occurred at the beginning of the afternoon on the A39, near Magny-sur-Tille, in the direction of Bourg-en-Bresse towards Dijon. The right lane is neutralized. There is therefore only the left lane to drive, which leads to a traffic jam of about 2 km. It takes 10 minutes to cross this sector.
1:20 p.m.: gradual reopening of the tunnel under Fourvière, in Lyon
The tunnel at the entrance to Lyon was gradually reopened to motorists, after being closed in both directions for several hours, due to a power failure.
Traffic is still very heavy in the area, especially on the A46, one of the alternative routes used by motorists to go down the tunnel under Fourvière. On this motorway, traffic moves in a corkscrew direction from Lyon Sud to Lyon Nord.
12 hours : traffic is still saturated on the A6. To avoid slowdowns, the Autoroute info radio recommends avoiding it, opting instead for the A39 from Dijon, then the A40 and the A42 to reach Lyon.
11:00 : an accident on the A31 in Côte-d’Or, traffic saturated from Beaune to Lyon
This Saturday morning, some disruptions have already slowed traffic. Starting with an accident that occurred on the A31, atselongey, in the direction of Luxembourg to Lyon. The two right lanes have been neutralized and traffic is therefore slowed uphill.
On the A6, traffic is saturated between Beaune and the arrival in Lyon. It takes 1h30 to go from Beaune to Lyon, 10 minutes more than usual. It is advisable to avoid using this motorway and take the A39, in the Dijon sector, then the A40 and the A42.
In the other direction, towards Paris, the traffic is also increasingly busy. And although there are not yet any traffic jams, it is also advisable to avoid this axis. From Lyon, take the A42 instead, then the A40 to Bourg-en-Bresse and finally the A39.
9 a.m.: in Lyon, the tunnel under Fourvière cut in both directions of traffic
The tunnel at the entrance to Lyon which makes the junction between the A6 and the A7 was cut off to traffic around 9 a.m., after a technical incident, according to progress information. Closed in both directions for an indefinite period, alternative routes have been put in place.
