The popular insect festival will also offer special guided feeding of insectivorous animals or encounters with grasshoppers and scarecrows.

This Saturday and Sunday you can try various insect specialties and get to know the benefits of insect cuisine. In addition to insect tastings, the Prague Zoo has also prepared another program for the weekend of insectivores. On the terrace of the Education Center, you can see examples of various types of invertebrates, find out interesting things about the insect kingdom and learn about insects as an alternative source of food.

Every full hour there will be a guided encounter with many types of insects, including large cockroaches and scarecrows. All weekend long you can participate in special commented feeding of selected insectivorous animals and on Sunday also in discussions with chefs and breeders who will be happy to answer your questions.
